What should I know for my first Museo visit?

Please arrive to your appointment five minutes early to ensure you receive the full Museo experience. This allows you time to park, check in, fill out your personal profile and familiarise yourself with the beautiful facilities on offer without the stress of being late.

As a courtesy to all Museo guests, appointments will be completed as scheduled. Arriving late will lessen the time you spend with us, as well as the effectiveness of your treatment.

We offer an urban escape for relaxation and rejuvenation. To maintain this ambiance, we request all guests are respectful of others’ privacy. Please kindly turn off your mobile and store in your private locker, and speak softly as you move about the spa.

All guests are provided with a robe, slippers and disposable underwear. Men enjoying bath treatments are offered disposable shorts. You will be assigned a locker to store your personal belongings, which will have a key you can carry with you.

Maintaining your sense of comfort is important to us. The range of health and beauty treatments at Museo require various levels of undress. Our therapists are professionally trained to ensure a level of decorum is maintained by appropriately draping areas of your body that are not the focus of your treatment.

We require a credit card number to secure all reservations. Day spa appointments over two hours are secured with a 50% deposit.

Worried about forgetting your reservation? Don’t be! All appointments are given a courtesy SMS message or phone call reminder.

We understand that sometimes you need to change your appointment. We kindly ask for 72 hours notice for group bookings (three people or more), 48 hours for spa packages or couples bookings and 24 hours for all other appointments to avoid a 50% late cancellation fee.

If no notice is given, a charge for the full value of your scheduled treatments will be incurred automatically to your credit card, or your gift certificate will be voided. Museo reserve the right to alter or vary any prices without notification.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email us as at info@museo.com.au or call. If you need to cancel or reschedule out of business hours, please leave a message on our answering machine within the notice period to avoid a cancellation fee.

If you would like assistance in choosing the right Museo treatment for you, we recommend calling us for an over-the-phone consultation with our guest relation team. Our team will be able to help you decide between the specific types of treatments offered.

Please advise our team when booking your treatment of any health concerns you may have. Our guest relations team are able to discuss your concerns and provide guidance as to which therapies will be the most beneficial for you, as well as those that be avoided.

We don’t generally recommended shaving prior to any treatments or hair removal services. It is recommended that men shave at least two hours prior to a facial treatment.

Although many therapies aren’t advisable in the first trimester of pregnancy, such as massage or body wraps, we are able to offer you many options. Please be sure to advise our guest relations team of your pregnancy when booking your appointment.

We aim to provide a relaxed environment for all guests. Sleeping and quiet infants up to the age of 12 weeks are welcome in our hairdressing salon only. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children in the spa suites.

Please do not use deodorant, perfume or body moisturisers on the day of tanning, and ensure all hair removal occurs at least 24 hours prior to service. For optimal tanning results and longevity, we recommend a body exfoliation prior to having your spray tan.
